Family Mini Golf Night

Friday, November 5th - 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Bring your family to the FSE gym for Family Mini Golf Night! The evening is completely free! Donations to the P.E. department will be accepted at the door, but not required. Please only sign up for one time slot to allow other families in the community to join in on the fun. Make sure you arrive on time! You will begin promptly at the time you sign up for. If you are late you may lose your spot.

Your family will be given 3 putters for the evening, so if you have more than 3 family members coming you will need to share! You can always bring your own putter and golf ball from home!

FSE Career Fair Day

Wednesday, November 20th

We are excited to host our third annual Franklin Smith Career Day.  We will have a Kindergarten through 2nd grade session and a 3rd grade through 5th grade session.  We are looking for parent and community members who are willing to come to FSE on that day to share about their careers as well as share an activity that would be indicative of your career but at an elementary level.  If you are interested in being a part of this wonderful day for our students, please e-mail Jennie Alderman at [email protected], Marisa House at [email protected], or Emily Fleeks at [email protected].

Please follow the lunch sign-up instructions below:

1. All lunch visitors must complete a Volunteer Application at least five days before their first visit. The Volunteer Application only needs to be filled out once during the 2024-2025 school year. You may access an application by coping and pasting this link into your browser:

Guests may eat with their students once the application has been processed and approved. 

2. Copy and paste the link below to sign-up.  Guests must sign-up at least one day in advance. This helps us better accommodate our guests and seating.

3. When you arrive for lunch, you will ring the doorbell that goes into the cafeteria (door labeled B6). We will have a list of everyone that is eating lunch that day. You will only be on the list if you have done the steps above. Once you arrive, you will be asked to show your ID and will receive a visitor sticker that must be worn while in the building. When lunch is over, you will exit through the Prime Time doors to the parking lot. 

New Student Enrollment 2024-2025

All families new to the Blue Springs School District can start the new student enrollment process. Please start the process by calling our Department of Public Safety at 816-874-3330.

You will need two of the following items to verify your residency:

• Gas Bill (within last 30 days) *
• Water Bill (within last 30 days)*
• Electric Bill (within last 30 days) *
• Lease Agreement or Mortgage Statement (within last 30 days) *
• Signed and dated sales/construction contract showing possession/closing dates (if applicable)
• Guardian’s Photo ID
• Student’s Birth Certificate
• Divorce Decree, Adoption Papers, or Foster Paperwork (if applicable)
• Only 2 of the * items are required.
